In the first quarter of 2025, the hack and slash category on Android in Nigeria saw varied performance across the top apps. Here’s a closer look at their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Ninja Ryuko: Shadow Ninja Game experienced a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 8.3K at the beginning of January to around 2.8K by the end of March. Despite this, the game saw a slight revenue uptick to $25 in the final week of March. Weekly active users gradually decreased from 38.9K to 24.5K over the quarter.

Stormblades showed a declining trend in downloads, beginning with 5.5K and ending at 1.8K. Active users mirrored this trend, reducing from 7.5K to 2.7K by the end of the quarter, with no revenue reported.
